Dear Colleague,
With omics based technologies, novel genes and potential candidate proteins can
be quickly identified. However, the discovery of viable drug targets still
remains a challenge in the genomic and proteomic field while regulatory and
ethical issues continue to hinder the process of bringing drugs into the market.
Meanwhile, pharmacogenomic studies remain at the forefront for developing
personalized medicine.
GTC’s 2nd Genomic & Proteomic Drug Discovery Conference is a
2-day meeting to be held on May 30-31, at the Hyatt Harborside in Boston,
MA. Additionally, there will be a supplementary
Clinical Sequencing Workshop
to be held on May 29th.
The conference will be a forum for the use of omics
based methods such as next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry for
biomarker discovery and the development of novel therapeutics. Technology,
diagnostics and major pharmaceuticals such as
Pfizer, Roche, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck , Genzyme, Life Technologies,
Agilent and more will meet with academic and government experts to discuss
the novel applications of omics based research and its implications toward
personalized medicine.
Sessions for the conference:
Pharmaco-omics
- Personalized medicine
- Biomarkers for stratifying patient groups
Advances in Genomic Medicine
Identification and Validation of Drug Targets
Systems Biology for Therapeutic & Diagnostic Discovery
-
Mass Spectrometry-based Biomarker Discovery
The 2nd Genomic & Proteomic Drug Discovery Conference is part of the
Omics Evolution Summit, which includes 6 co-located conferences and a
Clinical Sequencing Workshop
on May 29th. Register for the entire summit and have access to the all of
the following conferences:
2nd Next Generation Sequencing
2nd Epigenetics in Drug Discovery Conference
3rd RNAi Research and Development Conference
7th
Protein Kinases in Drug Discovery Conference
Genome-wide Partnering and Deal Making Conference
We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
