Dear Colleague,

We are excited to announce the 7th CNS Partnering & Deal-Making Conference, to be held September 18-19, 2014 in San Francisco, CA.

Over the past years, this partnering and business development conference has given global biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies an opportunity to network with high-level executives from top pharma and various biotech/pharmaceutical companies, as well as explore potential collaborations, and learn about relevant CNS disease issues that will affect the industry.

With the unmet need for CNS treatments growing, it is time to reevaluate how we partner with other stakeholders in the field to accelerate research. We will discuss research consortia, collaborations between academic centers and industry, and the growing role of patient groups and foundations. This meeting creates a space for leaders in the field to gather and invest in partnerships that will accelerate research and move the field forward.

Sessions for the meeting:
  1. Partnering & Licensing in the CNS, Part I

  2. Private/Public Partnerships in Neuroscience Research

  3. Joint Session with co-located Neurodegenerative Conditions Research & Development Conference: Hot Topics and Trends in Neuroscience

  4. Partnering & Licensing in the CNS, Part II

Panel discussions at the meeting:
  • Early-Stage CNS Partnering & Deals

  • Investment Opportunities with Venture Capital

  • What Sells Big Pharma in CNS Diseases?

  • Private/Public Partnerships to Advance Research

  • The Unique Role of Patient Advocacy Groups in Neuroscience

  • Regulatory Considerations and Challenges in Alzheimer's

  • New Partnership Structures in CNS R&D

We hope to see you in San Francisco!

Best regards,
